http://www.dogthebountyhunter.com

who has seen this series on SKY TV? amazing fella !! his crew is so cool too

this bounty hunter has a TV SERIES covering his various missions and there is real stress and danger involved that is for sure

the last one I watched he was after this guy BOSCO I think his name was, they ended up with a snitch from BOSCO's family or friends and the snitch led them in

the TV SERIES mercilessly showed the snitch and afterwards how "bad" he felt about leading the bounty hunters in - I thought "how can this snitch live with this? IT'S ON NATIONWIDE TV FOR GOD'S SAKE !!"

BOSCO was apprehended in his house and the film of him riding back to detention in the middle of DOG and another crew member back of the vehicle was quite enjoyable

they looked like 3 old mates who were just going across town to a pub - they were laughing and joking

if you go to the official web site it shows DOG's crew with GUNS but strangely in the TV SERIES the bounty hunters have NO WEAPONS, only handcuffs correct me if I'm wrong

anyway, if you get a chance, CHECK IT OUT - it's on BRAVO I think Wink

I've seen this a couple of times. I thought it was a Hollywood Drama to start with featuring all these larger than life people. I had this image of 'DOG' with handcuffs in one hand and a brush and mirror in the other. I am sure that I saw one show with him handling a 9mm handgun at the briefing before a capture although it was never drawn on the raid.

One of the shows The Dog captured a fugative by calling them and saying that they had been selected to win a cash prize and come along to an office to collect the winnings. This person who'd skipped bail and obviously knew he was wanted turns up 45 minutes later at this office (which is Dogs office) and walks right into 6 waiting bounty hunters.
With dumb crims like that I guess that firepower is not a priority.

They do carry some pretty wild mace with em mind! Comes out like foam and covers the suspect! Razz Shocked

If i remember correctly 'Dog' used to be a former biker gang top man who was involved in the shooting of a rival gang memeber.. he did time for it. But alas he's now a born again Christian and seems to be doing pretty well for himself! Must say im quite impressed cos he's hardcore when its needed but soft and friendly when the situation warrants. Shame the same cant be said for his mrs... shes nuts! Very Happy Laughing

Only in America the ex Criminals get to carry guns to arrest criminals.

Where as in the UK PCSO's are not allowed to carry a baton to protect them from criminals!
I many ways thank god it is like that! What mad mad world. hammerhead

Condoleezza Rice may decide the case of bounty hunter Duane Chapman, who is wanted in Mexico after he illegally caught a wanted rapist there three years ago.

Larry Butrick, chief of the criminal division of the U.S. attorney's office in Hawaii, told CNN while a magistrate in Hawaii will determine if Chapman can be extradited to Mexico, the final decision will be made by the U.S. secretary of state.

MSNBC first reported that U.S. officials arrested the TV reality star and two family members in Hawaii for extradition to Mexico on Thursday.

The action took place at the request of the Mexican government in the form of a diplomatic note sent on Wednesday.

Chapman's wife told MSNBC's Rita Cosby that heavily armed U.S. marshals arrived at the family's house and took away Chapman, his "blood brother," Tim, and son, Leland.

Dog is awesome.

The cans of mace they use look more like fire extinguishers.
