>> the newest page of the site <<
click above to enter salaries schedule, now there are 27 Police Forces which pay PCSOs and so far I have listed just five!! Crying or Very sad

Five out of 27?? sheesh that is not too good is it? I want to have a 27 National Salaries sheet on there so we can see what is going on clearly! Information is power, CAN YOU HELP ??

If you know the salary of PCSOs in a force not listed, please go to the page linked to above. In the page is a link to my e-mail address. Please e-mail me with full details of the salary range and if at all possible an internet link to the information where it is held on www

Do you think having a page on national-salaries is a good idea? What would make a better page then? tasty

Hi Falkor.

I feel that any information on being or becoming a PCSO is extremely important. To have an area that gives you information on saleries would alow individuals to find out if they could afford to live off the wages, or just where they stand in general; sounds like a great idea? Well Done Wink

Kind regards,

Indy.

I am curious to know how the shift/allowances actually work out in real figures?
I am currently shortlised for the West Yorkshire division and at just over 14K/year I may have to turn it down as I would be £500/month worse off.
If anyone from West Yorks could give me an idea of the take home pay that would be great Smile

I'm on £1600 a month but I've gone past my 6 month probation, and that includes the shift allowance.
I think I worked it out as being £19500 a year with shifts and weekend working added on.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED NOW PLEASE!

>> check out the superb grid here < done by mjollnir on VACANCIES

Now - is any member on this site willing to take on the awesome job of updating the PAY page, every month to the same high standard that mjollnir is applying to VACANCIES?

If you are willing to do this, then here is what to do now please:

please go through all the forces listed on the pay page one by one and check through their websites/ or by emailing them, to see which onces do/ don't show salary details, if they DO then note the info, if not email them for the salary info

when you have gone through all the forces listed at http://www.national-pcsos.co.uk/pcsos/id9.html then please set about contacting the remainding police forces (not all are listed) ......... NOW - are u sure you want to do this job?? Razz

if so, WONDERFUL! after checking through the list displayed and if possible obtaining more forces - then PM me with all the updated information e.g Gloucestershire The pay scale for the PCSOs is £14,793-£16,404, plus enhancements for shift and weekend working to work between the hours of 8am and midnight.

> all police forces are listed here < Wink

Hi all,

I have offered to collate the info re national pay - have got some of the forces details, but would greatly appreciate any help from members of the following forces if poss Smile

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, City Of London, Cleveland, Devon & Cornwall, Dorset, Durham, Dyfed Powys, Herts., Humberside, Kent, Lincolnshire, Merseyside, Northumbria, North Wales, Nottinghamshire,
PSNI, South Wales, South Yorks, Staffordshire, Thames Valley, West Mercia, West Midlands, Wiltshire, BTP.

It may be that some of these forces don't have PCSO's yet. I can't find any details on their websites re pay.

Any info can be PM'd to me - or emailed to me (post has been amended to hide email address)

Thanks all.

Nick Very Happy

Just to add to that Northumbria's shift enhancements = approximately£4K to £5K depending on your position within your pay grade.
