The program that enables ID verification is less than 2.5 MB so will take a matter of seconds to download with any broadband connection.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO "EXTRACT" FILES ONCE THE system is downloaded?

if not here is how

TO EXTRACT

• double click on verifyID.zip
• to 'please purchase' select CLOSE
• select "Extract to"
• a pop up window shows a suggested "Extraction path" - just press OK
• now X out of the page that you are looking at, by clicking the X in the top right
• now look for a normal folder marked 'verifyID' and double click it
• look for an icon with a 'red rocket' blasting off
• double click on the 'red rocket'
• as soon as you "land" look at the question
• you will be asked for your username but press \ instead (the LEFT slash NOT the right!)
• with music deactivated, now enter your username exactly as per forum

           simply click on this line to download the 2.4MB zip

you will be presented with 3 options

• OPEN
• SAVE
• CANCEL

It is recommended that you choose SAVE and then download the file to your favourite download area in your computer memory

Q why bother to download the file? is it worth it?

A yes it is!

A provided that you comply with all 4 conditions of the scheme (which you will be told about upon completion) you will guarantee future access to national-PCSOs forums from the account that you originally opened

Q I can do that anyway

A take it from me, this may seem so now ... but in 6 months time after a computer crash/ virus attack/ computer change, things may end up very different

Q and this scheme will help?

A yes, the scheme provides a facility to allow you to set 2 graphical icons now

Q 2 graphical icons?

A yes, you make a note of these icons in your diary, your phone book, your notebook, anything personal to you

Q then after my computer is wiped and I have no note of my password or forum details, that will prove who I am?

A not quite, but you're getting there. There is more to it than that - the entire scheme is described after you set your icons

Q What if I forget my icons?

A then the scheme fails
